Astrology is traditionally seen as universally consisting of four natural elements: fire, earth, air and water. The elements are considered to be the foundation of all of life and are represented within the birth chart. When applied to human nature, the elements represent certain behaviors within an individual to help define one’s basic temperament.
This lecture explores the basic essence of fire, earth, air and water and further how they interact with the energy of cardinal, fixed and mutable qualities creating the twelve zodiac signs also referred to as the “archetypes.”
