In her research with near-death experiencs and UFO phenomena, Lynn has observed a strong correlation between these events and the septile (51-degree) aspect. She discusses charts of documented NDEs and abductees, using as her primary example Dannion Brinkley, a former CIA operative, who has had 3 documented NDEs. Additional data was provided by Lois Rodden. Lynn also examimes transiting septile aspects and how to utilize them.
Lynn Koiner has been a full-time professional astrologer since June 1969 and a professional member of the American Federation of Astrologers. She had the opportunity to study directly with Ernest Grant, co-founder of the AFA, and he was her sponsor into this organization in 1969.
Lynn has served as president of the National Council for Geocosmic Research, Inc., Baltimore, Maryland, chapter, and she is currently the president of the Annapolis chapter and International Liaison for the NCGR National Board.
Since the 1970s, Lynn has been examining the psychological patterns shown in the horoscope as connected with specific diseases – the philosophy being that correcting a problematic personality characteristic can impact recovery or prevent onset. She has taught the medical curriculum at IAA since 2009.
