This 90-minute lecture is an introduction to astrology and the spiritual psychology of numbers, as taught by Pythagoras (called arithmology). The arithmologists understood number as a delineation of the evolutonary process by which everything in the manifest world is infused with life, consciousness, and creative intelligence. Although they did not speak of this in astrological terms, they left a number of clues which translate into astrological language. In this lecture, we will explore some of these clues and how they apply to a sample chart.
Joe Landwehr is an astrologer of 45+ years experience, seeking an eclectic integration of astrology, spiritual psychology, and ancient wisdom teachings. Author of several books and numerous articles, and Director of The Astropoetic School of Soul-Discovery, Joe brings a wide-ranging spiritual background to his work, which in addition to astrology draws from yogic philosophy, Jungian psychology, Native American teachings, and an eclectic sampling of perennial philosophies from the post-modern smorgasbord.
