Stress is unavoidable. What is a minor annoyance to one person can be a major stressor for another. This lecture discusses various styles of handling stress based on the ascendant by element and quality. Appropriate techniques for coping with stress are also discussed, along with ways in which astrology can help or hinder your coping skills.

Donna Van Toen is a consulting/teaching astrologer based in Toronto, Canada. She has over a full Saturn return of full-time professional experience and has lectured throughout the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as in Istanbul. Her presentations are known for their mixture of practicality, wit, and clarity. An active supporter of astrological organizations, Donna has served two terms on the UAC Board as well as serving as Presiding Officer of AFAN, as an NCGR advisor, and as an ISAR volunteer. Additionally, she is the convenor of SOTA, a regional astrological conference now in its 25th year. Donna holds NCGR-IV, CAP, and CAAE certification.
