In this talk, Andrea advocates for the use of astrology as a theoretical lens in psychotherapy. She discusses her experience doing astrologically-informed psychotherapy as a career option, in contrast to being a chart reader. She also covers some of the commonalities in the two approaches, and illustrates the differences through case examples. Particular concepts she discusses are mirroring and the burgeoning paradigm of self-compassion as it relates to astrology. She has written an article on this topic for the ISAR Journal.
