Many astrologers believe that there are no bad signs, malefic planets, or dreadful aspects. If this is so, and the birth chart is a true reflection of the person, then how do we account for the existence of aberrant and pathological behavior? Aren’t there bad, malicious, and dreadful people in the world? Are there bad charts? Or is every chart, as Richard Idemon once wrote, the perfect chart? Can one discern the chart of a saint from a sinner?
This presentation focuses upon the extreme expressions of sign/planet/house dynamics and is designed to foster insight toward understanding our own capacity for immoral, problematic, and harmful behavior, recognizing that a person without shadow is also a person without substance.
