Physical symptoms can be seen as creative expressions of our charts and can act out our inner lives to an exactitude that is sometimes breathtaking. When we pay attention to our symptoms — and combine this with the insights of astrology — the deeper meaning and healing potential of our symptoms will become clear, and a great deal of suffering may be avoided in the process. Using case histories, this lecture explores how.
Jane Ridder-Patrick has collected, over the years, a broad portfolio of qualifications, both orthodox and alternative, which span mind, body and spirit.
She has trained as a pharmacist, naturopath, herbalist, psychotherapist and historian as well as an astrologer, and she writes, consults, and lectures on astrology, its history, and its present-day psychological and medical applications. Her practice is in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she also teaches astrology.
She has a PhD in History from the University of Edinburgh, and in 2018 she was presented with the Charles Harvey Award for Exceptional Service to Astrology for her work on medical astrology.
